37 insurgents were killed in different parts of the country      

Kabul, Afghanistan:  In the past 24 hours, , Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 11 clearing operations and carried out 79 Special Forces tasks in different parts of the country in order to remove security threats and ensure security. Afghan Air Forces also conducted 75 flights supporting Afghan National Army and carried out 5 airstrikes on enemies’ positions. As a result, 37 insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded and 4 were detained.

These operations were conducted by the Afghan National Army Forces and with the support of Air forces in Laghman, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Parwan, Ghazni, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Sir-e Pol, Balkh, Takhar and Helmand provinces.

In these operations, 20 insurgents were killed, 6 were wounded, 3 vehicles and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in Pacha and Zara-Garda villages of Qarabagh district and Jaat Kansaf and Nazar Khan Villages of Andar district of Ghazni. 10 insurgents were killed and 1 hideout was destroyed in Chinayat village in capital of Uruzgan. 5 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in Sayyad district of Sir-e Pol Province.

Similarly, one insurgent was killed in Nahar Saraj district of Helmand. An insurgent was killed in Alishing district of Laghman. 4 insurgents were arrested with their weapon and ammunition in Behsud district of Nangarhar Province
