24 insurgents were killed in different parts of the country      

Kabul, Afghanistan:  In the past 24 hours, , Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 12 clearing operations and carried out 81 Special Forces tasks in different parts of the country in order to remove security threats and ensure security. Afghan Air Forces also conducted 81 flights supporting Afghan National Army and carried out 5 airstrikes on enemies’ positions. As a result, 24 insurgents were killed and 24 were wounded.

These operations were conducted by the Afghan National Army Forces and with the support of Air forces in Kapisa, Parwan, Laghman, Ghazni, Kandahar, Sir-e Pol, Balkh, Jowzjan, Takhar and Helmand provinces.

In these operations, 10 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in Dasht Qala district of Takhar. 7 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in Dawlat Abad district of Faryab. 4 insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded in Shah Walikut district of Kandahar.

Similarly, 2 insurgents were killed, in Delaram district of Nimruz. An insurgent was killed and 4 wounded in Giro district of Ghazni. 2 insurgents were wounded in Alingar district of Laghman.
