77 insurgents were killed in different parts of the country      

Kabul, Afghanistan:  In the past 24 hours, , Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 15 clearing operations and carried out 88 Special Forces tasks in different parts of the country in order to remove security threats and ensure security. Afghan Air Forces also conducted 149 flights supporting Afghan National Army and carried out 13 airstrikes on enemies’ positions. As a result, 77 insurgents were killed and 42 were wounded.

These operations were conducted by the Afghan National Army Forces and with the support of Air forces in Nangarhar, Kunar, Kapisa, Parwan, Ghazni, Kandahar, Badghis, Balkh, Jowzjan, Takhar and Helmand provinces.

In these operations, 35 insurgents were killed, 17 were wounded, 1 vehicle, 7 motorbikes and some weapons and ammunition were destroyed in Ab-Kamari district and capital of Badghis. 8 insurgents were killed, 12 were wounded in Khwaja Ghar district of Takhar. 8 insurgents were killed and one was wounded in Shah Walikut district of Kandahar. 7 insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded in Sayyad district of Sir e Pol Province.

Similarly, 7 insurgents were killed, 2 motorbikes and some weapons and ammunition were destroyed in Qarabagh district of Ghazni. 6 insurgents were killed, 1 motorbike and some weapon and ammunition were destroyed in Garmsir district of Helmand. 3 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in Khwaja Sabz Posh district of Faryab. 3 ISIS fighters were killed in Khogyani district of Nangarhar.
